VR Training for Robotic Surgery

In this project for AMRA ( Australian Medical Robotics Academy ) I created several VR prototypes designed to help familiarise surgeons with various aspects of robotic surgery.

To help facilitate the discussions around features and functions that VR can bring to support the various training goals of AMRA, I prototyped several different solutions. These VR solutions range from watching annotated stereoscopic operations in the VR headset, to immersive VR environments where surgeons can manipulate the virtual robot or meet virtually in a simulated operating room. Below are video captures of some of the prototypes.
