Sci-fi Film “2067”

I was VFX Supervisor on the Australian Sci-Fi film “2067” directed by Seth Larney.

The film was the opening gala film at the 2020 Adelaide Film Festival. I did the onset VFX Supervision and post visualisation for the ~350 visual effects shots. VFX shots ranged from sci-fi set extensions, time machine effects, human holograms and stunt shots. I also took several tricky shots to final. The first was replacing the stuntman’s head with the lead characters head. Another “fix it in post” shot required me to add VFX flames to a burning stuntman’s head. During this project, I also supervised a trial evaluating the use of virtual reality systems for live realtime camera tracking and compositing onset.

This article on FXGUIDE, provides a good overview of the VFX work.
