Virtual Production – Test for SciFi film “2067”

As VFX Supervisor on the film 2067, I set up a demonstration of virtual production for the DOP (Earle Dresner) and Director (Seth Larney) with the help of Michela from Mod studios. For this test, we used Vive trackers attached to the cinema camera, and rear projection screens.

Although in the end we went for the safe option of using traditional green-screens for this film, we certainly were able to demonstrate the potential of virtual production for future projects.
